# \`buildkite/\<pipeline\>\` vs \`buildkite/\<pipeline\>/pr\`

Why do some PRs get `buildkite/<pipeline>` vs `buildkite/<pipeline>/pr` in the GitHub Checks list? it makes setting up branch protection rather challenging.
