# Create incident in pager duty

The pager duty integration only supports creating change events.  
I would like to create an incident on pipeline failure, for some critical pipelines, and have on-call notified.

Welcome to the community! 🙂

That is a nice idea!, and we have it on our backlog, but unfortunately, there’s no eta.  
One workaround we have seen some folks use is doing something like sending webhooks to zapier or lambda and using those to trigger pager duty alerts.

Thanks paula! I figured out a workaround using email integration with pager duty and it seems to be working pretty well.
