I’m trying to reproduce the technique for pushing documentation to gh-pages published in [this blog post by circle-ci](https://circleci.com/blog/deploying-documentation-to-github-pages-with-continuous-integration) that uses the [node-js gh-pages program](https://www.npmjs.com/package/gh-pages) The agent successfully pulls from github at part of the “preparing working directory” build step but when it tries to push using gh-pages it deadlocks on an interactive prompt because the ssh key is unrecognized:

[https://buildkite.com/uavcan/libuavcan-v1/builds/69#b9f81135-db93-47cf-a38d-4871059](https://buildkite.com/uavcan/libuavcan-v1/builds/69#b9f81135-db93-47cf-a38d-4871059)

I’m not quite sure how to solve this using Buildkite. circle-ci had an “add\_ssh\_keys” map in their yaml to support this. Is this a missing feature in Buildkite and/or its docker plugin? Is there any way to work around this? Thanks.

Found the problem. I was missing [https://github.com/buildkite-plugins/docker-buildkite-plugin#mount-ssh-agent-optional-boolean](https://github.com/buildkite-plugins/docker-buildkite-plugin#mount-ssh-agent-optional-boolean)

gh-pages appears to be working now.
