# Update label for selected input?

Is there a way to update the block/input steps with the selected values?

I can’t tell what I selected from the build UI.

Hi @chomey!

Welcome to the community! 🤗

Unfortunately, it’s not exposed at the moment 😔. We have been thinking about this issue as there is currently no easy way to access that meta-data value in the UI. But as an alternative, you can add `/meta-data` ad the end of your build URL which will display the metadata values used in these steps.

I’ll address this comment to our Product Manager so we can discuss this as a possible feature request.
