Even if it is not a killer feature, it would be fun to be able to do build integrations with IFTTT
Examples
If the pipeline build fails -> whatever
if whatever -> launch pipeline build

@jmendiara thanks for the suggestion! I’m sorry to say that I don’t think this particular integration will happen any time soon…
We looked into it (I think around 2 years ago) and at the time there was a $3000/year fee to be an official IFTTT partner, and there was a significant amount of work required with integrating.
In saying that though, I’d be keen to hear about some of the use cases you were thinking of! Maybe there are a few other things we can do to the product to make integrating with third parties easier?
(As an aside, looking at IFTTT again, I think you’d probably be able to use their regular incoming webhook gear https://ifttt.com/maker_webhooks and our built in web hooks https://buildkite.com/docs/apis/webhooks to make services talk to each other)
I might mark this one as “resolved” for now (just so others know our current stance on it) I figure that’d be better than leaving this one open without a reply!
We have a mostly-built Zapier integration that would be closer to get working!
