I searched and didn’t see this but I suspect this has come up before.
It’d be nice to bring your own custom emoji without having to open a PR against the official Buildkite emoji repo. For company logos and company-internal stuff decorating projects, especially, with custom emoji would be a nice touch.
A search custom repo and if not found search official repo type of approach here would be really slick.

Thank you for your feedback! At the moment, in addition to the standard set of emojis, Buildkite also supports around 300 custom emojis - you can see the full list here.
The process for adding new custom emojis is currently only possible through opening a new PR.

I’m not certain the world wants our internal, team-specific emojis. Hence the feature ask. 
Ah, no worries, @ian-persona! We’ll gladly add any custom emojis you want, no matter how specific, as long as they comply with the 64x64 PNG image format :)
