Buildkite not starting job when PR is sent to Github merge queue

So my jobs correctly start on PR open, a build is launched on Buildkite. However, I’d like to enable merge queues, and when I squash my PR, the check is hung like this: Expected — Waiting for status to be reported. I have followed that Github guideline on setting up merge queues and webhooks. I See my webhook being delivered to buildkite’s API. Then… nothing. I also do not have any branch filtering on. Is something else occuring?
