What is the expiry period for the meta-data?

When we do the buildkite-agent meta-data set <key> [value] to set a value to the meta-data, what is the expiry period of that value?

I have a use case to save a helm chart revision to the meta-data, and there is a block step after that, and followed by a helm rollback step to use that saved revision number. So I could unblock that step after a few days.

I have searched the document, it seems this is not mentioned for the expiry period of key/value in the meta-data.

Hope you are well - and thank you for the question!

Meta-data for each build is persisted and available to use as long as the build exists - determined by the respective retention period for the specific organisation’s plan that the pipeline is contained within.
