Firstly, thanks for the awesome product!
I would love if the data available for Test Suite analytics was slightly richer.
Specifically, I’d love to be able to view the “Recent runs” duration information over a longer time horizon. I’ve made some optimizations to the test suite at my workplace over the past 6 months, and I’m interested to see how much quicker things are running now.
Unfortunately, the “Recent runs” section does not seem to respect these time filters, and additionally, these time filters are limited to the last 28d. This makes it impossible for me to view the test pipeline duration over a longer timescale.
I think there are a variety of ways I could get the information I’m interested in:
- Allow “Recent runs” to respect these time filters + expand these filters to longer time horizons
- Add another “Test suite trends” card for say, “average daily duration”, and allow that to be expanded over a longer time horizon.
My current workaround is to poke at some data available in Datadog which measures CI time. However, it would be better if this was natively available in Buildkite.
Cheers!
