I see from Annotate a different build - #2 by sj26 that
you can use
--job=...to indicate which job the annotation should be considered created by, and so which build it should be displayed on
That would be good to explain in the docs, and that specifying the current job is therefore effectively a no-op.
But aside from that, the option to display annotations on a job would be appreciated.
